Billionaire Elon Musk walks with Indonesia's Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan as he arrives at Nagurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia.

Indonesia hopes Starlink, SpaceX's satellite-to-broadband internet provider, will help connect the country's remote provinces and improve education and healthcare there.

Starlink received the license to operate in the country earlier this month.

President Joko Widodo is actively seeking Musk in his efforts to establish Indonesia as a preferred destination for foreign investors.

In September, Joko Widodo said Indonesia was still in talks with Tesla Inc to invest in the country's growing battery industry, despite a slowdown in the electric car market.
